About MedfordMedicare
One person, one desk, and a habit of starting with your doctors and prescriptions long before a single plan brochure gets opened.
Who sits behind this site
I Built This Around the Care You Already Depend On
I work with people coming up on Medicare for the first time and with people who already have it and are quietly wondering whether it still fits. In both cases I start in the same spot: the doctors you see, the pharmacy you walk into and the medicines you refill.
Plan brochures are written the other way around. They lead with a name and a list of benefits, then leave you to work out on your own whether your care survives the switch. I would rather settle that part first, in writing, before anything is signed.
Nothing I do adds to what you pay, and nothing moves until you say it should. You can sit with a comparison for a week, send a question late at night, or decide that what you already carry is the right thing to keep.
Your Medicare card gets used at a front desk and a pharmacy counter. That is where the choice should be tested, not on a glossy page.
A plan is only ever as good as what it does for the person holding the card at the counter.
Plain Language, Every Time
I explain coverage the way I would explain it to a neighbor across a fence. If a sentence needs a glossary beside it, I have not finished writing that sentence yet.
Your Own List Comes First
Every comparison opens with your providers and your medicines typed out by name. The plans arrive afterward and have to answer to that list, not the other way around.
No Push to Move
Staying exactly where you are is a real answer. When your current coverage already handles your care well, I say so plainly and leave it alone.
Send Your List and Let Me Do the Looking
Open an account, add the doctors you want to keep and the prescriptions you refill, and I will come back with the Medicare options that actually hold them.
Your Doctors, Looked Up
Send me the names of your doctors and clinics, and I check every plan's network before you choose.
Refills Checked by Name
Tell me what you take, and I match each medicine to the plan's drug list and the pharmacy's price.
A Full Year of Costs
Premiums, deductibles and copays get added together, so you see a likely total for the whole year.
Deadlines Pointed Out
You hear from me about which enrollment window applies to you and when it closes, well in advance.
